Betting Your Bankroll

Betting is an extremely enjoyable and popular form of gambling. By being able to add an incentive to the outcome of a given event, it gives a person a vested interest in the result as opposed to just watching. A win just does not feel like a win without some skin in the game. It can also be an extremely profitable way to gamble as long as you follow some rules. When approaching betting it is important to manage your bankroll properly, otherwise you will quickly be going broke. The size of your bet can vary depending on what your risk appetite is but it should never surpass more than one tenth of your bankroll at any given time. That way, if you lose the wager you are not risking a large percentage of the money you have available with which to bet. Not every wager has to be a winner; as long as you win more than you lose, you will come out ahead.
